Since inception in 1998, Access Trust has been a pioneer in the terrain of TVET Funding and Student Support. In those early days the organisation was often a lone player in the provincial field of TVET bursaries and supported close to 3000 students over the past 17 years. Its successes in fulfilling its mandate have seen an impact on the lives of students and their families.
1. TVET Bursary Fund Scheme is the flagship programme of the organisation. With disbursements in excess of R1.1 million annually, the fund is supported by a range of donors from industry and civil society.

2. Student Support and Work-placement is an overarching programme which supports students on-course. All students receive monthly campus visits from the Student Support Unit and have an open support-line via telephone, whatsapp groups, email and social media.
